Het zal kiezen worden tussen twee kwaden. De gemeente of de provincie zal de portemonnee trekken. Prachtig hoe dit in politiek Limburg mogelijk is. Er is nog steeds niets veranderd.
Eens zien of de gemeentelijke politiek morgen de rug recht houdt. Nu de druk volledig bij hen ligt zal een sanering leiden tot een politieke rel van jewelste.
Het wordt een spannende dag.
Ik kan je wel vertellen: als de huidige coalitie financiële steun aan Fortuna in welke vorm dan ook accepteert moesten ze verplicht worden de gemeenteraad te verlaten. In 2005 heeft diezelfde club luidkeels verkondigd hoeveel gemeenschapsgeld er door de toenmalige coalitie in de club was gestoken. En dat terwijl dat helemaal niet zo was!!
